Sunny days are here again!

Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. - Psalm 143:8

Good morning!

We're sitting in Bob Evans in Joplin, MO, breakfast is coming and the sun is shining. It's a good start to the day!

We're making good time and the drivers have been great. This is the first year we're driving all Chevy vans, not Fords. The seats are different which threw a loop in our packing science (Jon will be repacking red van for the third time after breakfast) and the wheel bases are longer, but we haven't popped a curb yet!

The overnight was good. No real issues other than some aggressive semi trucks at 3am. For some reason, there were a few who kept messing with red van and matching speed so we couldn't move or stay with the others. Not a fun situation but all the drivers handled it well. The sleeping positions got more and more interesting as the night went on (I'm sure there are Snapchat stories to prove it!) and there's a lot of back and neck cracking this morning. Spines aren't supposed to sound like this, I guarantee.

It feels good to get out and stretch before another long day of driving. We're almost to Oklahoma and we'll push thru to Roswell, NM tonight.  Please continue to pray for safe travels for us as we drive, for good attitudes as the space seems to shrink and for all 3 campuses to blend well together. They're doing well so far, but it can be easy to go back into the comfort zones of people you know and not getting to know others. Thank you for your prayers for us so far! We appreciate them!
